Juniper Hill Villas

Lake George Living

About

Juniper Hill Villas is a 34-unit luxurious condominium community situated on a 45-acre parcel on the shores of Lake George in Bolton Landing amidst the beautiful Adirondacks and just a mile from the Village and shops. The property, beach, and docks are situated in an ideal spot at the entrance to Northwest Bay and the Narrows, at one of the widest sections of Lake George.

Families have been coming to Juniper Hill Villas year round to relax on the lake, swim, boat, and soak up the amazing views of the lake and mountains since 1985. In addition to offering great access to the Lake, Juniper Hill has a waterfront deck and picnic area, pool, tennis and basketball courts, and a clubhouse onsite. Many families enjoy Juniper Hill throughout the winter months, skiing at nearby resorts – Gore, West Mountain, and Lake Placid.

Our History

Prior to constructing Juniper Hill Villas, the property was owned by Dr. Abraham and Dr. Mary Putnam Jacobi. Abraham Jacobi, is known as the father of American Pediatrics, and his wife, Mary, was among the first women to be admitted to the American Medical Association (AMA.) They are known as the “First Family of Medicine” and dedicated their careers to caring for children. Abraham Jacobi was instrumental in forming the Lake George Association and chaired a committee to ensure the lake was free of pollutants.

The Clubhouse that remains on Juniper Hill property was built by Dr. Abraham Jacobi in the late 1800’s, as a home for his daughter Marjorie. When built, it did not contain a kitchen, to encourage their daughter to dine with them each evening.
